Specificity and cross-reactivity
Antithrombin Binds human Antithrombin in ELISA and immunoblots. It also binds human and baboon Antithrombin in plasma. Does not react with Antithrombin found in bovine, dog or rabbit plasma. Antibody inhibits plasma ATIII activity in chromogenic thromb; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
